Cooked duck egg industry, Hubei Shendan won the second prize of national science and technology progress

Among them, the "Laying Duck Germplasm Innovation and Industrialization" project hosted by researcher Lu Lizhi of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and participated by Hubei Shendan Health Food Co., Ltd. won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

Among them, the "Laying Duck Germplasm Innovation and Industrialization" project hosted by researcher Lu Lizhi of Zhejiang Academy of Agricultural Sciences and participated by Hubei Shendan Health Food Co., Ltd. won the second prize of the National Science and Technology Progress Award.

Hubei Shendan Company is a well-known enterprise in the duck egg industry in China. It has continuously carried out in-depth development around the industry chain of breeding ducks-breeding-processing-sales, and cooked the duck egg industry thoroughly. The "Shendan No. 2" green-shell laying duck matching system in breeding is one of the highlights of this project. After 6 generations of continuous breeding, it has the characteristics of less material consumption, high egg production, high green shell rate, strong disease resistance, etc. It also effectively solves the problem of fishy smell of duck eggs and can be boiled and steamed like eggs.
The intensive breeding technology of laying ducks is the second highlight of this project. The cooperation between Shendan Company and researcher Lu Lizhi has solved the problem of water pollution caused by raising ducks. The ducks live well, eat well and have strong disease resistance. The whole process adopts non-resistant breeding, and the eggs laid are clean, which has changed the image of dirty duck eggs in the past.
According to the modern nutrition concept and food processing technology, upgrading the traditional duck egg processing industry is another highlight of this project. Hubei Shendan Company took the lead in formulating the national standard of "preserved eggs", and preserved eggs entered a new era of lead-free technology. Shendan preserved eggs have become the main raw materials for foreign fast food and domestic well-known catering companies preserved eggs and lean meat porridge. Pork eggs, salted eggs, and mayonnaise are exported to developed countries such as Europe, America and Japan.
