The company's products have entered more than 3000 chain supermarkets such as Carrefour, Metro, Wal-Mart, and exported to Japan, the United States, Russia, Australia and other countries.

Demand is increasing day by day. It is estimated that the annual demand for new duck eggs in our province is more than 0.2 billion, of which the annual demand increase of Hubei Shendan is more than 60 million. If the qualified rate factor is taken into account, 2 million new laying ducks are required each year to meet the needs of egg processing enterprises.

Researcher Li Chaiguo of the Provincial Animal Husbandry Bureau believes that there are very few provinces in the country with water resources suitable for natural grazing and duck raising, which objectively causes the phenomenon that merchants from all walks of life gather in Hubei to snap up high-quality red-yolk duck eggs.

Although the optimistic duck egg market has attracted some social investment, the overall pace of development is still too slow.

Chen Hongsong, director of the Animal Husbandry Department of the Provincial Animal Husbandry Bureau, believes that in order to build our province into a stable national red-yolk duck egg base, we must focus on solving three problems---

First of all, the government should pay attention to support. The duck industry in our province is a typical grass-roots economy, which is self-contained and basically has no special policy support. In this regard, we can learn from the experience of Jiangxi and Jiangsu and increase government support. As early as the 1990 s, the Jiangxi Provincial Government invested 0.17 billion yuan to implement the "Goose and Duck Project", which promoted Jiangxi's rapid development into the country's largest duck egg province (mainly captive laying ducks). The "Duck Egg Festival" held by the government every year before the Dragon Boat Festival in Jiangsu Province has effectively increased the popularity of local brands.

The second is to operate according to the industrialization model and develop large-scale breeding. The breeding community can be used as a link between the government, leading enterprises and farmers. The government will fund and entrust enterprises to build and manage the breeding community. Farmers only pay rent when entering the community.

The third is to strengthen social services, especially the cultivation of laying duck breeds and the prevention and control of "bird flu" and other epidemics.
