Open heaven and earth Pangu egg

Eggs are a symbol of life in ancient Chinese culture. From the beginning of heaven and earth, there is endless life. Pangu is an epoch-making giant god in Chinese mythology. Legend has it that in ancient times, heaven and earth were chaotic like an egg, in which the epoch-making Pangu became pregnant and broke the "giant egg" with his axe. The universe began to have heaven and earth. There is a cloud in "The Gathering of Arts and Arts": "The heavens and the earth are chaotic like chickens (eggs), and Pangu is born among them. Eight thousand years old, the heavens and the earth is opened up, the yang is the sky, and the yin is the turbidity." The antique "Dome" in Shendan's booth originated from Pangu myth. The sculpture has a real egg shape and a large size, which can be described as "the first egg in the sugar and wine party". I stood next to the "giant egg" to hear the shutter "click" sound.

Baoping Nuwa Hanging Egg Pocket

"Look, fairy sister!" A group of children screamed and flocked to the Shendan booth. It turned out to be Nuwa's "reality show" hanging an egg pocket ". The custom of hanging eggs and keeping peace has a long history. It is said that there is a god of plague in the sky, who sneaks to the lower bound to harm people every Dragon Boat Festival. Most of the victims were children, ranging from fever and anorexia to bed-ridden. Mothers went to Nuwa Temple to burn incense and kowtow, praying for disaster relief. Nuwa went to the plague god to reason when she learned: "You will not be allowed to hurt my first child in the future." The pestilence god knew he was defeated by Nu Wa, so he asked, "I don't know how many direct children there are under the Empress?" Nu Wa said, "Every year on the Dragon Boat Festival, as long as there is an egg pocket on the chest, it is my child, you are not allowed to fool around." Since then, the custom of hanging eggs on the Dragon Boat Festival has gradually spread.
