Help small quails drive big industry to make a good way for farmers to get rich.

On September 23, with quails as the matchmaker, hundreds of experts, entrepreneurs, producers and managers from the quail industry and related industries gathered in Anlu City, Xiaogan, Hubei Province to participate in an industry event-the establishment of the quail branch of the China Animal Husbandry Association Conference and the first (2020) China Quail Industry Development Conference. China Animal Husbandry Association, Hubei Provincial Department of Agriculture and Rural Affairs, and relevant leaders of Xiaogan City and Anlu City attended the conference and delivered speeches.
On the morning of the 23rd, under the witness of all the participants, the quail branch of China Animal Husbandry Association was officially established. At the first general meeting of the quail industry branch held subsequently, the first quail industry branch chairman, president, vice president, secretary general and other positions were elected. Liu Huaqiao, chairman of Hubei Shendan Health Food Co., Ltd., was elected president of the first quail industry branch. Liu Huaqiao said frankly that he deeply felt the great responsibility. He said that quail is a young sister in poultry and a rich bird in the poultry industry. It has made positive contributions to increasing farmers' income and enriching the vegetable basket of urban and rural residents. However, the quail industry is a small industry that is not well concerned by the society. There are problems such as lack of industry organizations and industry activities, backward technology and equipment level of the industrial chain, less government support, and low social attention. Today, the establishment of the quail industry branch marks the quail has a "home" and its development is more promising. In the future, the branch will continue to make efforts in building an information exchange platform, strengthening industrial supporting technology research, doing a good job in product promotion and promotion, and promoting industry exchanges, and actively initiate international exchanges and cooperation to jointly promote industrial progress by holding the China Quail Industry Development Conference every year and organizing delegations to participate in exhibitions such as the China Animal Husbandry Expo.
In the afternoon of the same day, the first (2020) China Quail Industry Development Conference held a seminar. Everyone expressed their opinions and offered suggestions on how to promote the healthy development of the quail industry. Chen Jilan, researcher of Beijing Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Chinese Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Pi Jinsong, researcher of Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences, Pang Youzhi, professor of Henan University of Science and Technology, Wang Shocai, professor of Huazhong Agricultural University, and experts, scholars and practitioners from Holland Eagle Animal Health Group and Shandong Boraili Lilai Biological Company respectively gave their views on the current production situation of quail industry in China, from the aspects of feed nutrition, genetic breeding, disease prevention and control, breeding mode, environmental control and cultural inheritance, this paper discusses how to ensure the efficiency and quality safety of quail production under the constraints of resources and environment, and improve the ability of sustainable development of quail industry in China. This conference is hosted by the China Animal Husbandry Association, and co-organized by the Preparatory Committee of the Quail Branch of the China Animal Husbandry Association, the Institute of Animal Husbandry and Veterinary Medicine of Hubei Academy of Agricultural Sciences, and Hubei Shendan Health Food Co., Ltd.
